I’ve attended the Money & You seminar a couple of months back. At that time, everyone seems to be talking about it and I was thinking what the hoo hah it was all about. After all, I’m not that much into motivational seminars anymore and don’t really get excited over the rah rah cheering and hype.
What I wanted to find out was, beyond all the hype and hyperactivity, what’s really behind money and you, and what’s so great about it? In fact, is it all fluff and hype and no substance to it?
I must say, after attending the program, I was left feeling impressed. So impressed I was that I signed up my wife for it. Of course I didn’t ask her permission then but I know it would be good for her.
Back to Money & You…
The basis of the program is not about money, rather it’s about you, your attitude, your essence because ultimately, your essence decides your behaviour and your behaviour decides your results.
Also, they do not really forces their values and concept to you, rather, they share what are the universal values that have worked for others, and through the accelerated learning technologies, they devised a series of activities/games to put the message across. I personally found it very profound.
Until that time, I’ve heard of and am aware of those principles, but it never clicked in my mind WHY it’s important and so on and so forth. But through the games, there was a self realization process that flicked the switch.
Principles such as the 4 feet game, the lifeboat game, the XY game and of course the concept of precession all came into place and made sense of the things I’ve been doing and NOT doing.
I’m beginning to slowly live these principles and whenever I’m advising anyone, unconsciously, the advise will have the fundamentals of the values imparted on me through money and you.
Another good thing about the program is the lifetime re-visit classes. We could always re-attend the programs at no cost as observers. The learning experience would be different every time.
If anyone were to ask me, I would highly recommend it.
If you’re keen to attend, drop me a note through the contact form, and include your name, email and contact number. I would be glad to share my experience with you.
Oh not forgetting the fact, if you do decide to register for it, I will personally provide you with a rebate of RM200.
