Saturday Night Life Distinctions

by admin on December 10, 2009

1. I’ve always taken a back seat and let someone start the engine in any project, then I will go all out in the supporting role and work behind the scene. I’ve no problem with having good work etchics, but I’ve always procrastinated in taking the first initiative. Time to CHANGE that!

2. My reality is NOT the true reality. I should not be limited by the boundaries of my reality. What I think is true and practical is only because of the limitation of my belief system supported by my own life experience. I should not let the boundaries of my reality be the limitation in my life, rather i should expand my boundaries by engaging with people with bigger boundaries! ANYTHING is possible.

3. I’ve been burning a lot of money without realising the significance of my actions. From now on, I shall be mindful of how I spend my money and be conscious of my action. I’ll STOP burning money from now onwards!

4. The lack of my motivation is due to the lack of a strong purposed goal that consumes me to the extent that it creates a burning desire in me. Time to IGNITE that flame once again!

Typhoon Ondoy Help

by Elaine on October 1, 2009

This is really out of topic here but I just wanted to share this.

Last Saturday, September 26, 2009, The Philippines experienced one of the worst typhoon ever to hit the country. I personally experienced it being stuck in traffic for 5 hours from the usual 45-minute drive from my Graduate school to my house. I still consider myself one of the lucky ones because there were a lot of of people whose homes were wiped out and loves ones lost due to the floods.

The only contribution I could do now is to help in any way and to encourage everyone to also do the same. If you are interested to help, you could click here. It contains numbers of foundations like the Philippine Red Cross and information on how you could contribute.

Thank you for helping out.

When 1Malaysia Was Not A Cliche

September 10, 2009

I had friends who were Indians, who were Malay, and various other races.
I use to frequent a friend’s house [...]

Of ‘Cow’ards and ‘Cow’ Dungs

September 3, 2009

First came the cow head, but coming from some IDIOTS, I wouldn’t give two hoot about it..let the authorities deal with them.
But now apparently there’s another idiot who tried to justify why the first bunch of idiots did what they did. Read it here.
Right.
What he’s saying is, if I feel victimised, and have no [...]

Malaysian Football In The Shit Hole

September 3, 2009

Is it any wonder that Malaysia’s ranking in FIFA’s system is at 152nd spot?
I’m not surprised, are you?
As long as the heads still stay at the top, as long as the top brass still thinks that they are the best people that can help lift Malaysia’s football out of this shit hole, I say [...]
