For the Nokia lovers like me…Nokia N9 is now available and believe me you’ll be blown away when you get to hold and see this handset! It’s simply gorgeous and it has perfectly engineered design and amazing features! I’m not being biased in saying that, the design and the features are truly amazing. It comes in 3 colors…cyan, magenta and black.
To start with, Nokia N9 is very user-friendly that all you need to do is to make a simple swipe. This one idea makes everything feel effortless and completely natural as you use this phone. There are no back or home keys…just a continuous flow as you move from app to app. Swipe any edge of the screen to go home, and then move easily between three home views. Another good thing about this handset is that, it all comes together beautifully with the scratch-resistant glass merging perfectly into the smooth one-piece body. And there’s innovation in every detail. The vivid AMOLED display brings everything to life right on the surface, plus the curved glass makes it easy to swipe the touch screen as you move between apps.
The Nokia N9 also features a free maps and navigation with free walk and drive navigation and turn-by-turn voice guidance. It has also fast and effortless mobile web browser, so pages load on your screen in no time. And with HTML5 support you get the best of the web including rich apps and fast video playback. For the camera, it has 8 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics to take a great shot, or start filming in stunning high definition. And yes, now you can sync with iTunes in just simple steps. Signing into multiple personal email accounts is fast and easy using the Accounts app. And with support for Mail for Exchange, I can stay securely connected to my work email on the go. Mail also integrates seamlessly with my contacts and can combine multiple accounts into one easy-to-manage inbox. Also, with Nokia N9, it is easy to organize and be notified with its Calendar that stays in sync with your online schedules and exchange calendars—you can set reminders with ease. The Clock app makes creating multiple alarms easy, with the option to repeat. And with the Documents app you can view and organize downloaded files and attachments such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files, as well as many more. For twitter, facebook and other social networking addicts, your posts from your favorite social networks appear directly in the “events view”, so you can instantly jump to what’s important.
Nokia N9 comes with AMOLED capacitive touch screen display with 480 x 854 pixels. The display is made of Gorilla glass with anti-glare polarizer, multi-touch input method, proximity sensor for auto turn-off and accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. It has an internal memory of 16 or 64 GB storage, 1 GB RAM but it has no slot for memory card and it has no radio. For the battery life, standby mode is up to 380 hours, talk time is up to 11 hours and music play is up to 50 hours.
