Having a blogging schedule would make sure that you are able to provide fresh blog content in a specific time frame.

Blog Post: More or Less?
This is one debacle that every blogger should solve before starting blogging. Blogging content should not be too much or too little in fact, it should be just enough. Blogs that have a lot of blog posts in a day would be easily picked up by search engines but if this trend does not continue on for the rest of the week, the chances of being picked up will become slimmer. At the same time, this goes with blogging in inconsistent schedules like just updating their blog weekly. So if this kind of blogging habit is not effective, what would be the best practice?

The Compromise
I personally believe that having a blogging schedule that would both meet the content requirements as well as the posting frequency requirement would be the best approach regarding this matter. A blogging schedule would help the bloggers in terms of determining when to post in their blogs and also to provide the readers of your blog on when to expect new content. Having blog posts at least everyday would be a great practice and having more than one blog post a day would be a greater accomplishment.

In regards to the content or the length of you blog post, it depends on what length you are more comfortable with. If you want to have just an update everyday, having a blog post of just 100 words per day would be ok. However, if you want to have more concise content for you blog especially if you are aiming for a problogging disposition, you have to have more than a 100-word blog post. Having a word count of at least 300 words and above would ensure that you would have a rich blog post regarding that topic. However, if you have more than 1,000 word count you better think about it or do some editing before moving forward with that blog post. Blog readers would more or less get tired of reading that specific blog post because it would be too long in their eyes.

Having a blogging schedule, just like in any schedule would ensure that there is a specific time that you would be focusing on and updating your blog posts. Some people might find having a blogging schedule constricting their creative juices but in reality this is not the case. A timely approach in blogging is necessary in order to be updated and be ahead of the game in problogging.
