This is one of the most interesting questions that I have encountered since I have started blogging. This is really interesting because it made me look back at the real reason and motivation on why I started blogging or problogging for that matter.
I have been blogging since 2005 and four years after, I am still continuing problogging. I started blogging about personal topics kind of like a diary wherein I recorded everything that I experienced. From that, I developed from personal blogging to professional blogging through dwelling into business topics. I was able to blog about different business topics such as outsourcing, project management, offshore security, and the likes. From these experiences, I am now able to blog about blogging and writing-topics which are very close to my heart.
In this blog post with the same theme entitled Hobby Blogs: Making Profits from your Hobby, it showcased how a blogger would be able to capitalize on blogging about the things which you really love and at the same time earn from it. Here is an interesting excerpt:
Here’s my point: I think there are millions of people who have untapped earning potential in their hobbies (a certain blogger’s digital photography hobby comes to mind). They’ve just never taken the time to share their valuable experiences and expertise online.
I think that once you are clear with your answer for this blogging question, then your path towards problogging is really a clear and straight one at that.
