If You Think There’s Always A Tomorrow…

by admin on June 15, 2009

I was chatting with my friend on Facebook and talking about T Harv Eker’s MMI (I’ll talk about that in another post) when he related to me a freaking experience.

Around 4am, one of his friend called him because another friend of theirs called up this particular guy. He was screaming and shouting non-stop on the phone about his chest pain.

Suddenly everything went quiet – complete silence – dead silence…

They called him back more than a dozen times and no one picked up the phone. My friend and this friend of his rushed to the guy’s house with 3 ambulance and 1 bomba.

When they rushed in, their friend was on the floor, both hands clenched, mouth wide opened, and eyes closed. They could feel that he was really in pain during his last moments.

The police asked my friend to pry the phone off his dead friend’s hand, and call up his friends and relatives to inform them about the incident. WTF?

How on earth do you call up someone using the dead person’s phone and tell them that the person is dead? Freaking shit. I can’t bear myself to do that.

And you know what, the guy was only 42 years old.

And my friend who’s in his late 20s, whom I’ve advised to stop smoking countless times, and haven’t, immediately STOPPED smoking.

If you’ve always thought that there’s always a tomorrow to…

- tell someone you love him/her

- to do something

- to live life to the fullest

- to make a commitment

- to make the world a better place…

Well guess what, you’re right, there’s always a tomorrow.

But that tomorrow could also be snatched away from you right before your very eyes. You can choose to wait for that tomorrow, or you can do it RIGHT NOW!

It’s your LIFE, it’s your CHOICE!

You’re right Melvin, tomorrow is never in our hands. I guess to know where one would be after that tomorrow is equally important. Ask Steven and he will be able to tell you the answer :)
Couldn’t agree more with you that we need to live life to the fullest. Thanks for sharing from your heart.

Yes, live to the fullest on today, as if there is no tomorrow, never regrets on somethings you didn’t do it today!

Ooi, I think you also can share with him la … I think we share the same value, it doesn’t matter who to share as long as the message delivered.

Sorry to hear that. I’ve been hearing a lot of deaths as of lately.

A french priest at the church in Johor Bahru I frequented when I’m in town had passed away 2 Sundays ago. I had always expected to see him there when I would go back to JB. Not this time.
