About 2 weeks back, my seminar business partner, Steven Wong, and I made a trip to WOW Photo to have an hour of photoshoot at their studio.
Hafiz, the photographer was very friendly and passionate about his job and I highly recommend him.
On the same note, let me share with you a very funny incident.
I was to contact Hafiz to organize the photoshoot a few weeks back. Because he was recommended by another common friend that we had, I assumed that he was Hafiz (the Internet marketer) that we both know. So when I called him up on the phone, I mentioned the fact that we knew each other, and whether he could give us a good price. Obligingly he did.
On the day of the shoot, when I arrived there, I didn’t see the Hafiz I recognized, so I assumed he went out.
Suddenly the guy who was ushering me into the studio asked me…”Hey Melvin, you said we met before, when was that?”
Oooops!
I knew I blew it. It was so embarassing that my face just turned bright red. I ASSUMED wrongly. And now this Hafiz must be thinking that I was trying to use some lame ‘I know you, can you give me a discount’ excuses to squeeze him.
Hafiz, if you’re reading this, it was an honest mis-assumption! Didn’t mean to use it was an excuse. Nevertheless, I still want to keep the discount you offered…haha.
